Nocona · May 6, 2026Nokona baseball glove factory opens for spring Saturday tours.

Nokona Athletic Goods has opened its factory floor to Saturday visitors through the end of June, offering two guided tours each weekend day at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tours are free and require no advance reservation.

The Nocona plant is one of the last remaining baseball glove manufacturers operating in the United States. Each glove is cut, stitched, and laced by hand — a process that takes between four and six hours depending on the model. The Saturday tours walk visitors through all five production stages.

Factory manager DeLynn Brown said the tour program started informally three years ago when visitors began showing up at the front office asking to look around. "We figured we might as well do it properly," Brown said. The current guided format launched last spring and drew about 340 visitors in its first season.

Tours last approximately 45 minutes. Children are welcome but must stay with an adult. The factory store, which carries seconds and sample gloves at reduced prices, is open during tour hours and on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
