Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you visit LocalMoCo, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) logs standard web-server data: IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, and page requested. We do not store this data ourselves beyond what Cloudflare retains per their own policy.

If you subscribe to the Friday email, we collect your email address. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell, trade, or share your email with third parties.

If you submit a business listing, event, or tip, we collect the information you provide in the form. We use it to process your submission and may contact you to verify details.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not fingerprint users and does not share data with third parties. No tracking pixels. No retargeting.

LocalMoCo links to external sites (businesses, government resources, historical archives). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Children

LocalMoCo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. We will not send email notification of routine policy updates.
