PARTNER
Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce
The Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-run organization serving a community of approximately 881 residents — one of the smallest incorporated towns in Montague County, and one of the most historically significant. Saint Jo sits at the southern end of the Chisholm Trail, where an estimated five million head of Texas cattle crossed the Red River northbound during the cattle drive era. The Stonewall Saloon, built in 1873 as the town’s first permanent structure, is still standing and now operates as the Stonewall Saloon Museum.
The Chamber’s modest annual dues ($50) reflect the scale of the community it serves, but Saint Jo’s heritage-tourism draw punches well above that weight. The courthouse square, the museum, and the town’s Chisholm Trail marker bring visitors from across North Texas who otherwise have no business reason to stop. The Chamber coordinates the events and signage that turn those visits into spending.
LocalMoCo is working toward a formal partnership with the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce. When that partnership is in place, Chamber members will receive a free, permanent directory listing on LocalMoCo and a 10% discount on any paid service tier for the first year.
If you own a business in Saint Jo — the saloon, a shop on the square, a B&B, or anything else — get in touch and we will get your listing claimed now.
Note: The LocalMoCo partnership with the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce is proposed and not yet signed. Features described above reflect the planned terms.
